PAT has always been aligned its financial activities with developmental and welfare activities for the benefit of the underprivileged people of the society. The activities range from education, healthcare to women empowerment.

Child Development Program:-

PAT’s five Child Development Program (CDP) centres are at MGR Nagar, Ramamurthy Nagar, Bell’s ground, Kemps Town and Kajapettai area, which responds to child rights issues in the slums of Trichy town. The centres provide opportunities for refined behaviour, social interaction, cultural integration, mental development, physical development for the child.

Education Empowerment Program:-

PAT has twenty coaching centres with intake of 30 students each spanned across Ariyalur and Thanjavur District. Each centre has a qualified guide, who supervises the daily revision of their lessons, besides occasional tests to help them locate the areas where they need improvement.

Computer Training Centre:-

To create a IT savvy generation from rural parts of the country to compete and excel in the booming IT-enabled job sector, PAT had started Computer Training centres in Thirupanandal, Thanjavur District in the year 2008.

Tailoring Centre:-

Observing that many homes had adolescent school drop outs idling in their homes, PAT decided to open three tailoring training centres in its operational area. Currently around 320 students are trained in these centres. Many of the trained girls take up tailoring as a profession to make their own living.

Healthcare Program:-

PAT in collaboration with the Lions Club T-Palur/Kumbakonam, Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai and District Blindness Education Society of Thanjavur conducts Eye Camps in its operational areas. Approximately 800 villagers were provided healthcare services each year. Those, who are in the dire requirement of operation to prevent blindness were taken to hospital at Madurai for surgery.
